About the safari

The quadbike experience is a firm favourite and involves roughing it up within the 10,000 hectare wildlife conservancy of Aquila. Note: Maximum weight per person: 90Kgs. Min. age is 16 years and older. 250cc horsepower quad bikes. There are a maximum number of 10 people per quad bike experience, and one person per quad bike. The quad bike experience is guided by two qualified rangers. Duration of game drive and departure times are approximate and dependent on the interaction of the guests with the ranger and the sighting of animals.

Spot the Big 5

Aquila is home to the big 5 animals, so you're bound to spot all of them during your early morning safari tour. Bring your camera!

Family Friendly

Aquila is a family friendly game reserve, and children are able to join us in the game drives. We also offer a Junior Range Programme.

Experienced Guide

A professional tour guide will drive you through the reserve, assisting you with spotting the Big 5 and giving you specific information about the animals on route.

Self-Drive or Book Transport

Our traditional game drive at Aquila offer the option of transport to and from the reserve, unless you want to self-drive.
